Infertility has increased three-fold in the last 20 years fueling the assisted reproductive technology (ART) demands on those that specialize in the area of helping people become pregnant and build their families. The Center For Egg Options Illinois has been recruiting, screening and successfully matching Gestational Surrogates and intended parents with an industry topping success rate and is proud to be known for its "Platinum Standard" hands-on team approach.
Gestational Surrogacy is an option for women with viable eggs, but who don’t have a normal uterus or can’t carry a baby for other medical reasons. A woman’s eggs are removed (or, if the woman doesn’t have viable eggs a donor egg can be utilized), fertilized with the male’s sperm and the embryos are transferred into a surrogate mother’s uterus. The Gestational Surrogate serves as the "carrier" of the embryo and resulting pregnancy and shares no DNA with the child.
