Explanation of The Center For Egg Options'competitive fee schedule:
No fees are incurred until the Recipient chooses a donor. The Center For Egg Options maintains an exensive database of qualified donors with no waiting list. At the time of FREE CONSULTATION, recipients will view profiles of donors who have either been prescreened or are in the process of psychological screening.
Program Fee: $5,500.00
This fee isn't due until you choose a donor to match with: Includes psychological evaluation, genetic consultation, donor insurance (see below for more information on the insurance), donor legal fees and administrative fees. This fee is due within 5 business days of finding your donor to match with.
Donor Compensation: $7,000.00
This fee is due within two weeks of matching with your donor.
As a reminder, SART guidelines state: “Total payments to donors in excess of $5,000 requires justification and sums above $10,000 are not appropriate. Donors will NOT be paid over $10,000 under any circumstance.
Total Fees: $12,500.00
Egg Donor Insurance Coverage:
The Center For Egg Options Illinois has purchased an insurance policy from the AIG Life Insurance Company to cover your donor in the event of a cycle complication.
- Accidental Death and Dismemberment Benefit - Max Amount: $100,000.
- Accident Medical Expense Benefit – Max Amount: $250,000 and Deductible: NONE.
- Paralysis Benefit: $100,000.
The maximum amounts are used to determine amounts payable under each benefit. Actual amounts payable will not exceed the maximums, and may be less than the maximums under circumstances stated in the policy. Aggregate Limit: $100,000
All Egg Donation Recipients will receive a HIPAA release to maintain privacy.
