Dearest Jessica,

This letter to you is long overdue. I have been trying to figure out how to say thank you for all that you are doing for us. For the first time in my life I have become speechless and overwhelmed with emotion, good emotion. It seems like thank you is just not enough for your generosity in giving us one of the most precious gifts from god. When we were first told about surrogacy we were amazed that there are people out there trying to help couples like us. My husband and I have a wonderful life together and now we hope to have an even more blessed one. We both come from large families and I cannot express the thanks they all give you. Since the beginning we have kept you in our prayers and will continue to do so through the pregnancy. We wish you and your family all the happiness and success that life will offer.

Where to begin? First and foremost, our deepest thanks and gratitude for your dedication through this whole process. We sincerely appreciate all that you had to go through. John and I have always known that parenthood was inevitable for us. We got married later in life and started trying to conceive almost immediately. Both pregnancies ended tragically in miscarriage, which devastated both of us. I married the man of my dreams and we were supposed to live happily every after, not alone, but with a big family. We pursued IVF four years ago, but because our insurance did not cover infertility, we decided that maybe adoption was the journey we were to take. We attended an informational meeting and thought, maybe surrogacy was the answer. That is what we agreed upon trying to find the perfect surrogate and if we were not successful, then we would accept that and live our lives childless. That is how our journey brought us to CEO, Nancy and then to you. We are eternally grateful to you and what you have done to help us achieve our dream of becoming parents.

I think it is a blessing that you are given this option and that you have chosen me to help bring your beautiful baby into this world. Making this decision took a great amount of strength and I admire that. I believe that we all grow up reflecting our upbringing. Often many people bring children into this world and take their children for granted. Not only is that sad, but it effects the child. I know that there are people out there such as you, who are deserving of a child of your own. Partaking in such an emotional and important process, I wanted to communicate with you offering open arms. I admire your desire to be wonderful parents and am completely supportive. In my eyes you are already parents because there is nothing greater than to love the idea of something so much, you will do anything to achieve that end.
